I don't know about you but my weekend was jam-packed. From about 8 am Friday morning until 11:30 Sunday morning I hardly had a moment to myself. I almost forgot to water my plants to be honest!
My weekend went something along the lines of this:
4/8 - Friday
8 am - Woke up, had breakfast, showered, etc.
9 am - 12:30 pm: French, Native Studies, History classes
12:40 pm - 1:15 pm: Lunch
1:30 pm: Meeting with my academic advisor
2:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Cashed my check, went to CVS, picked up my package from Hinman mail center, and helped my friend Daryl fix her car
5:20 pm - 6:10 pm: French Drill (stressful and intense)
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm: got ready for
Alpha Phi Alpha's Pharaoh's Ball with my best friend Autumn
8:30 pm - 11:00 pm: Pharaoh's Ball, lots of dancing and great finger food!
11:00 pm - 7:30 am: SLEEEEEEEEP
4/9 - Saturday
7:30 am: Rushed around very quickly to gather all of my things for the Brown Powwow
8:00 am - 11:00 am: Car ride to Providence with my Naddies (a slang term that Native Americans at Dartmouth [NADs] use for one another) Daryl, Saige, Tori, and Sami
12:00 pm - 7:00 pm: POWWOW TIME! :D with my Naddies plus Jose, Daryl's boyfriend
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Explored a bit of Providence; ate dinner at Chipotle, went to the Brown Bookstore (overpriced!), hung out at Starbucks, gave my leftovers to a homeless (I have never felt so good about a deed before, definitely felt the warm fuzzies)
9:00 pm - 12:00 am: Car ride back to the Big Green. Much singing ensued.
And then I slept until 11:30 am, something I haven't been able to do in a while :)
I spent all of Sunday writing a Native American studies paper and doing other work for my classes as well. Now it's already Tuesday, I can't believe how fast time goes by in college. I posted the pictures of the plants' progress in the post before this one. Enjoy, and until next time...au revoir! :)
