Post deux (4/7/11)

Bonjour!

It's amazing to see how much a plant and sprout can grow in 24 hours. Since I last took pictures of the marigolds and sunflowers, they've grown. Much thanks to the wonderful sunshine today. It's been pretty dreary in Hanover this week, so the sun was much appreciated. It makes you so much more motivated to accomplish tasks, do work, and just go outside. I even felt healthier today knowing the sky was completely blue with not one cloud up there. If you've ever woken up with the sun before, you know what I'm talking about. It feels completely natural for the sun to stream into my room and wake me up. That's not to say that I actually got out of bed at 6 am today though. :) I still like to sleep until the very last minute.

While I was looking for new containers to transplant my hosta to, I ran across this picture on Roberts Flowers' Facebook page and thought it was a great idea since I already have a Bigelow's can to use after I finish the tea in it. So I got to thinking about reusing materials for planting and gardening. I found some silly straws I had won during a musical chairs event in the fall and used them as plant markers. It's funny the things you find when you clean!

A bien tot!

This is Dexter, for those of you that asked what he looked like.
